How to make your new home your dream home? With picture-perfect interiors!
To do that, all Sharal and Brian had to do was find an interior designer, deal with labour, buy raw materials, visit markets themselves, supervise… or simply choose Livspace. Everything was so much easier and smoother with Livspace, says Sharal.
With Livspace interior designer Garima Shah handling end-to-end execution, Sharal didn’t have to worry about a thing. The end result? A home that felt unmistakably cool and comfy with savvy storage solutions and fresh colors to boot!
Cool grey seating offset by a warm, textured yellow wall and a brick wall gives the space a dynamic vibe. Wooden tables at the dining, living and entertainment areas help create a cohesive look. The storage unit near the dining area takes care of the couple’s need for keeping books and crockery.
When Garima proposed a brick wall design for the foyer in 3D, the couple instantly fell for it! A walnut and ivory hued cabinet with seating space was chosen for comfort and utility. The dash of color here beautifully balances out the soft, muted hued hues in the rest of the home.
With a floral accent wall and drapes, the master bedroom mirrors the couple’s calm nature. Floating shelves above the bed worked as the perfect perch for family photographs and showpieces. An L-shape wardrobe provides maximum storage given the room’s orientation.
We all know that kids outgrow clothes faster than we can imagine in their growing years and the same applies for personal spaces too! Textured surfaces of the accent wall and wardrobe give Dave’s room a mature look. A study nook and corner shelves give plenty of scope for keeping things organised.
A swathe of appetizing red on the lower cabinets gives this kitchen an energetic look. Space being a constraint, Garima gave the couple an extra worktop with Blum drawers below for utensils and other items.
By giving plenty of storage, this home looks streamlined and clutter-free, leaving plenty of room for the interesting choice of colors and patterns to shine through
