Installation Guidelines:

• Free Standard Installation: All chimneys come with free standard installation.
• Accessories & Additional Charges: Accessories such as duct pipe and end cap will be charged separately at the time of installation, based on actual usage.
• Duct Pipe (6 feet): ₹1,000-₹1,200 + GST per piece (indicative; the prevailing charges shall be communicated at the time of installation)
• Additional accessories, if required, will be charged as per actual usage.

• Free Standard Installation: All hobs come with free standard installation.
• Accessories & Additional Charges: LPG to PNG conversion will be charged separately at the time of installation, based on actuals.

• DIY Installation: Cooktops are designed for self-installation and may be installed by the Customer without a technician, in accordance with the user manual. Any self-installation shall be undertaken at the Customer's own risk, and Livspace shall not be responsible for any damage, defect or loss arising from improper installation or gas connection.

Terms of Warranty

• Warranty Initiation and Validity: The warranty shall commence from the Effective Date and shall remain valid for the period specified against the relevant Product in the table below.
• Conditions of Warranty: The warranty shall apply only where:

• the Product is used as per the instructions given in the user manual;
• the Customer provides a valid proof of purchase, such as the invoice;
• the Product is maintained and used only for normal domestic, non-commercial use;
• the Product is owned by the original purchaser, the warranty not being transferable to any subsequent owner or purchaser of the Product;
• the Product remains at its original installed position and location; and
• the claim is made within the warranty period.

• Warranty Coverage: This Policy covers manufacturing defects in the Product, including in the motor, main PCB and touch-control PCB, for the periods specified in the table below. Where an extended warranty period is specified for a particular component, the warranty for the period beyond the comprehensive warranty period shall be limited to such component. It is hereby clarified that any decision to repair and/or replace the Product shall be solely determined by Livspace, subject to the inspection and tests set out under "Inspection and Tests" below. Please refer to the table below for product-wise warranty coverage and duration.
• Exclusions: The warranty does not cover:

• Labour, installation or transportation costs
• Damage such as natural wear and tear of finishes and surfaces, or nicks, cuts, scratches or abrasions
• Glass or glass products
• Damage due to non-compliance with maintenance guidelines, tampering, repairs, modifications, alterations, or dismantling by unauthorised personnel
• Damage due to any attempt to fix, alter or modify the Product, exposure to extreme temperatures, continuous contact with water, high moisture levels, or use of harsh cleaning chemicals, or hairline cracks
• Damage caused by natural disasters such as fire, flood, lightning, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, and any other similar events beyond reasonable control, which shall be deemed to be acts of God
• Damage arising from installation, ducting or electrical work not carried out by Livspace or its authorised personnel
• Accessories and consumables, including duct pipes and end caps

• Inspection and Tests: Livspace reserves the right to conduct inspections and tests, either directly or through nominated persons, before initiating any repair or replacement under the terms of this Policy. The Customer shall make the Product reasonably available for this purpose, and Livspace's assessment following such inspection shall be final in determining whether a claim falls within the scope of this Policy.
• Limitation of Liability:

• The liability of Livspace under this Policy is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of the Product and/or components, as outlined in this Policy. Livspace shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, indirect, or special damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, loss of business, or any other economic loss arising from the use or inability to use the Products.
• Furthermore, Livspace's liability under this Policy shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for the specific Products covered by this Policy. This limitation of liability applies to all claims, whether based on warranty, contract, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory.
• In no event shall Livspace be held responsible for damages or defects caused due to, including but not limited to, improper installation, misuse, alterations, modifications, or any other actions outside the scope of the intended use of the Products.
• This Policy specifically and solely covers and includes Products explicitly mentioned herein. Any services or products that are not expressly outlined in this Policy are not covered or included. Livspace does not assume responsibility for any services beyond the scope of those specified in this document. The Customer acknowledges and accepts that the coverage provided by this Policy is limited to the Products expressly detailed herein, and that all services and other products are excluded from the scope of this Policy.

• Livspace Discretion: Livspace, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to control and monitor all repairs/replacements conducted under this Policy in accordance with Livspace's specifications and instructions, and to determine the timelines for completion of such repairs and replacements. Livspace may, at its discretion, appoint a contractor to carry out the necessary repairs or approve a contractor appointed by the Customer. Livspace retains the authority to ensure that repairs adhere to its quality standards and specifications. The Customer acknowledges and accepts that Livspace's exercise of discretion in controlling and monitoring repairs is a fundamental aspect of this Policy.
• Governing Law: This Policy is governed by the laws of India. Subject to any non-excludable rights of the Customer under applicable consumer protection laws, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any claim or dispute arising from this Policy.

Warranty Policy

Terms of Warranty

• Damage due to any attempt to fix, alter or modify the Product, exposure to extreme temperatures, continuous contact with water, high moisture levels, or use of harsh cleaning chemicals, or hairline cracks
• Damage caused by natural disasters such as fire, flood, lightning, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, and any other similar events beyond reasonable control, which shall be deemed to be acts of God
• Damage arising from installation (including self-installation), gas connection or electrical work not carried out by Livspace or its authorised personnel
• Gas leakage or damage arising from the gas supply, regulator, hose or pipeline

The Customer shall make the Product reasonably available for this purpose, and Livspace's assessment following such inspection shall be final in determining whether a claim falls within the scope of this Policy.
